REPUTATION
MANAGEMENT
A corporate reputation is how stakeholders perceive and evaluate a company over
a longer period of time. A good reputation attracts investors, helps to attract the
most talented people in the market, is motivating for employees and makes
companies resilient. Once a company has defined its vision and positioning, it is
important to determine to what extent the stakeholders’ perceptions help to realise
or possibly hinder the ambitions. Closing the gap between ambitions and perceptions
calls for an ‘outside in’ orientation. By measuring and analysing the reputation and
its drivers  per target group the preferred course of the corporate communications
strategy becomes clear and manageable.
Reputation Matters can measure and analyse the reputation of a company, develop
a reputation dashboard and draw up a reputation management plan. A structured
approach to reputation influencing will eventually lead to a better reputation.
